I Would Describe Myself As

I would like to start slow and work up to a lasting relationship with a man and want someone who is honest, kind, romantic and generous. I had stability in my marriage and I liked it. No worries about honesty or deceptiveness. I am not really a black or white kind of person, sometimes I see things as "gray" if you know what I mean. I am always wanting to learn new things. I am retired so I have a lot of freedom to come and go as I wish. Although I am a conservative I sometimes lean toward the center depending on the issue. I am not steadfast in my affiliation. I am a religious person and I believe in God but do not attend church regularly. Probably should change that.

I'd just like to add...
I love country music, and a little dancing from time to time. I like going out to dinner. Mexican, Italian or steak and baked potatoes are all okay with me. I annually volunteer just before Christmas for a program in our town called "Operation Santa Claus". We prepare and deliver boxes of food and Christmas presents to those who are less fortunate or have fallen on hard times. I really enjoy the fulfillment I get from being one of Santa's elves. I live in a small Texas town on the coast and am very good at running from hurricanes. I don't like it but I am good at it. I love the comfort of home and don't feel the need to always be 'doing' something. I have a 10 year old pekingese named Scooter who is spoiled rotten. He comes with the territory. I like to watch sports on TV sometimes, football and NASCAR but it is not mandatory for me. I watch a couple of reality shows and a couple of primetime shows such as Grey's Anatomy and Brothers & Sister. Not into the daytime dramas at all. I am a collector of Salt & Pepper shakers and have been collecting since I inherited from my great-grandmother. I guess it has been more than 35 years.
