I moved to the Southwest Illinois in 2008 and am still getting used to area. I lived on Long Island, in New York, for most of my life (and Brooklyn, NY before that). I retired early and decided to move closer to my Daughter and Grandchildren so here I am! I am now looking to meet new friends. I have four grown children and 11 Grandchildren. I moved away from the little Grandkids (and I miss them and will visit often) but I still have the older ones here to keep me company. I am retired but I keep very busy and I have something to do every single day - I swear that there isn't enough time in the day to do all I want to do! I love to travel and have the desire to see every state in the United States? I have been to 37 already - still have 13 to go..then plan to see farther places. I just came back from a cruise to Alaska and loved it!!! Do you enjoy movies - especially action movies or how about a good old love story? I enjoy movies, reading, traveling, (a little) gambling, dancing, spending time with friends and family. I would like to meet you if you enjoy some of these things too. I am totally self-supporting, independent, intelligent and witty. If you would enjoy meeting a new friend who is loyal and does not come with baggage - contact me. I love creating things with my computer and have created many websites.. I also have updated my computer myself. I am not afraid to be myself and am willing to accept a man at his face value too. First getting to know one another by having coffee in the St. Louis Bread company a couple of times. Then walking in the park and getting a hot dog is nice "getting to know you" time. I love to do things that are spontaneous and inexpensive!

I am an air sign and I love everything about flying (even though a little afraid of heights). I would love to go on a hot air balloon ride or even better would be a piggy-back parachute jump! No bungy jumping though - that doesn't appeal to me at all! LOL

is to live a long, and relatively happy, life. I really just want to enjoy my time on this earth and not be bothered by little things for which we have no control. I live each day as if it is my last. I have lived long enough to know what I want to be involved in - and what I don't want to be bothered with! "Live and let live" is my motto as long as you aren't trying to get me to be something I am not - or something that I have no desire to be.
