Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als

I am a widow looking for companionship and similar interests. Friendship and a good sense of humor is at the top of my list. I have a boatload of grandkids, age 3 to 15, who right now are my biggest blessing. I spend many hours attending their sporting events and activities but would like some ADULT time also. I'm basically a "country girl" with a wide variety of interests. I enjoy traveling, camping, fishing, dancing, wine tasting, cooking, gardening, reading, an occasional "night on the town" or to the casino, quiet evenings at home, and spending time with family and friends. I'm a pretty versatile person...not too much in life I DON'T enjoy. I love silly practical jokes and lots of laughter (even though I seem to be on the receiving end of these things LOL!) I have a good sense of humor and like to think of myself as a caring, giving person but don't like to be lied to or used. I believe a good solid friendship is the foremost basis for any kind of a lasting relationship, whether it be just companionship or something deeper. I am a very spiritual person and even though I don't attend church on a regular basis, I believe strongly that you must have God in your life daily to find and remember the GOOD things that many of us forget we have. I guess I am sort of a "what you see is what you get" type of person. Don't ask my opinion if you don't really want it. And by that, I actually meant that I speak honestly and would hope that the person I'm with would do the same. Complete honesty is very important to me.
Remember when we used to think after 40 a person was ancient and no longer interested in anything? WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!! For me anyway, there's still a lot of life out there to be enjoyed and I very much want to be a part of it.
