I like to keep fit and eat healthily[ however I do lapse from time to time!] I work full time because I enjoy what I do and I like to be busy. However I would be happy to give it up if I found someone I wanted to spend more time with.
I like to walk in the country, by the sea shore or the streets of London. I also like to cycle [I did the London to Brighton once] and am keen to try a cycling holiday. Who knows one day I might.
I like to go to the theatre, cinema, visit stately homes [I am a National Trust member] , RHS gardens, I like to travel and long for a suitable travelling companion. I circumnavigated the world when my son got married in the Cook Islands visiting many places in America, Australia and Thailand. The Cook Islands too which are amazing. I have many other places I would like to see, such as S. America and many parts of Africa.
On the domestic front I like to cook and miss catering for dinner parties as I used to. I enjoy lively conversation in small groups like a dinner party, rather than large parties.
I like to keep fit and belong to a local health and fitness club. I go to the gym as often as I can and swim fairly regularly on a Sunday morning.

I am looking for a man who will be friendly, thoughtful and kind. Someone similar to me who has a lot of love to give and who wants someone to love him too. He will need to enjoy family life and hopefully have children and grand children too. Ideally he will have the same thirst to travel and have fun as I do, and equally enjoy a pleasant evening having a meal and a bottle of wine.
