I am a 68 yr young widower, with 2 close adult stepchildren and a beautiful granddaughter. I am a retired high school Special Education teacher. I keep myself happily busy being involved with some enjoyable activities. I enjoy the outdoors ( snowshoeing, tricycling, kayak beginner, walking the beach ). I enjoy museums, historical sites, live theater, music ( except hard rock or rapping ), singing, dining out, dining at home ( cooking with someone special ), driving to nowhere special, traveling,reading , and volunteering, I enjoy sports when there is nothing special happening. You will find that I am honest, loyal, upfront, sincere, romantic, and compassionate. I am a very happy person and enjoy the positive side of life. I dislike disagreement. I know this will happen, possibly from time to time. I will go to someplace quiet and meditate and work on a solution. This is something that will keep a relationship happy and enjoying. There are important things that are needed in life, a beautiful loving relationship, family, and being involved in enjoyable fun activities. I have always believed in a very simple saying. I has helped me to be happy and has guided me through life. If It Is To Be, It Is Up To Me. In a happy relationship this is true for both working together. I hope this explains a little of who I am.
