I'm active,outgoing and 'young' for my age.I've spent a lifetime associated with sport & exercise, and still strongly maintain my personal fitness and interest in these areas. I am a qualified Athletics Official and sometimes travel around the country in that capacity.

I'm a keen, regular walker in cities and the countryside. I like to shop(for clothes mainly), and in addition browse in Antiques Markets at home and abroad (though I am not religious,I have a fascination for religious artefacts,and have a large collection).

I like to socialise with friends and groups, all the usual activities - coffee/drinks, meals out/in, cinema/theatre, live music/comedy shows, art exhibitions, and places of interest etc. I like to holiday,hot,sunny places mainly.

I'm now 'retired' from work, so have more time to pursue these and hopefully new interests. I have various tastes in music: pop, rock, country & western, soul, to name a few. I do watch some TV (mainly Poirot's I have seen a hundred times before!), but mostly I 'can take it or leave it.' I'm a fairly avid reader, Robert Goddard, Elizabeth George, Harlan Coben type mysteries and sometimes romantic novels.

I think everyone that knows me would say I'm honest, genuine, reliable, caring and understanding. I get on well with people and am a good listener. Though I'm probably ruled more by my head, my heart plays a big part too! I think open and honest communication is important in all walks of life, but particularly in close, personal,relationships. Family and friends are important to me.
