Enthusiastic, musical, outdoorsy, family- and arts-oriented--that's me. Love indie and foreign films, classical & other music, singing, wordplay, reading, writing, birding, hiking, cooking, woodworking, a bit of gardening, entertaining, and spoiling the man in my life. Hey--am I a Renaissance woman?

Can't imagine being bored, though while I'm an energetic person, I also love long, relaxing times outdoors or in with those dear to me. I live life with passion, and hope you do too, including in private. I don't want smoking, drugs, and excess alcohol as part of my life or yours, though I definitely enjoy good wine, good Scotch, and dark beers. The spiritual side of life--philosphy, and what motivates people--are of interest, though my beliefs are eclectic and open. I'm neither New Age nor of a particular religion. My family (mostly north of Seattle) is fascinating, very fun, very embracing. I love to travel, with Costa Rica my next goal, and spent many years travelling by motorhome in my work as a freelance photographer/writer. My touring motorcycle days are long over. Hope you are affectionate, jolly, outgoing, and will share or support many of my interests, as I will yours.

Fun varies so much, and almost anything is enhanced by sharng it with a special man. Love to sing in a community chorus. Love hiking--some backpacking/camping. Reading across the room from my sweetie. Being with my sibilings, nieces and nephews. Being inventive in the kitchen and entertaining friends, family, and my guy. Pillow talk after uninhibited (not kinky) intimacy. Exploring new places, including foreign birding or cultural trips. Laughing and meeting the eyes of someone who understands the same humor. Photographing when nature is presenting something really special. Hugging. Endless kisses. Gentleness and sensuality. Carmina Burana. Brahms. Live theater, museums, symphonies, chamber music. Life.

Someone who can communicate well and calmly in all situations. Someone whose eyes happily meet mine because of humor or a shared understanding. An openly affectionate person who has loving family and friends. Someone who is energized, rather than depleted, by social situations. Someone who has made good enough financial choices that has resulted in a moderately pleasant lifestyle. Someone attuned to nature and who shares the idea that we are stewards of the earth's resources. Somone with developed interests and hobbies. A man who cares about healthy eating/cooking without going to extremes (vegetarian is fine.) A man with whom a relationship will seem forever new. It can happen!
