Need partner for remaining Space-Time

Jag skulle beskriva mig själv som

I am a retired physicist with a deep interest in astronomy for much of my life. Astronomy was the subject of my doctorate in the 70s but not my career, and now it's just a hobby. I give talks on aspects of it quite often and am keen on Astro-imaging and photography in general. I am interested in the arts and particularly music having a large collection of recordings. I also have inherited a family of Burmese cats. Just recently I started learning the piano, but find it very difficult.
In the last two years I've lost my wife, my mother, and now my father. I have two adult children, one still living at home. I have dealt with each crisis logically and pragmatically. I remain positive and hopeful for the future with a new life before me. I believe that I am caring and considerate and sensitive and treat people as I would like them treat me.
I was encouraged two years ago to try Internet dating. I have learned much in the process and have made many friends. That was my intention. One has helped me greatly through my difficult times. But I was hopeful that this social project would eventually lead to a new partner to share my remaining years with. I now realise that requires like minded compromises and space and is quite elusive, but not impossible. One has to be slightly positive, so I remain so.
