I'm a writer and work hard at it: sceen plays, novels, detective thrillers.
I'm well educted, cultural, and an independent liberterian - definitely no political camp follower.
When people first meet me, they notice how well informed I am on a wide variety of subjects. I'm an avid reader.
They also notice I'm a good communicator, and interested in what they say. I listen and ask questions.
I'm athletic and look it. I play tennis, ski, bicycle, and swim. I enjoy outoor activities. Definitely not a couch potato!
I enjoy ALL the performing arts, movies, dancing, and romantic candlelight dinners.
The character traits I value most are integrity, intelligence, compassion, loyalty and a good sense of humor. Adding pride in appearance and passion to the above would describe the life companion I'm searching for.
No couch potatoes or game players need apply. And I'm an expert at spotting game players.
I came to Reno four years ago from Newport Beach, CA. It was quite a cultural shock. Social opportunities to meet quality people in this "season of life" are practically non-existent here.
After my divorce I came here because my sister has serious health issues. Even though she's older and we've never been close, I thought it was the right thing to do. We are the survivors of a small family. I live near her.
Frankly, I miss my network of quality friends in Orange County and the social opportunities available. Friends and someone I really care for are important to me.
I'm financially independent and own my own house.
