My family and friends say I have a warm heart, infectious laugh, caring spirit, loving personality, expressive eyes, terrific hugs and good sense of humor(able to laugh at my own foibles)! Most people are surprised at my age since my skin is not wrinkled and my voice is young. I am woman hear me roar...or speak softly...or cry tears of joy or sorrow...or hold you in my arms to comfort you...and will love you doing the same for me. I love bright colors (especially Purple, Blue and Turquoise) and have beautiful jewelry. Whenever I wear these items they make me smile and feel good all over!
When did we all turn grey? Why didn't we know how much fun it could be before? Freedom in so many ways! No more need or time for pretenses! Definitely no more need or time for game playing! Just living life to its fullest as we accept who we are now...individuals who are and can continue to be vibrant, fun, courteous, giving, understanding, loving, sharing, willing to go that extra mile - all to make our last and best partnership work for the rest of our lives here on God's good earth! Why should we remain alone when someone else out there really needs a loving partner as well. At this point in our lives our deck of cards has been dealt. Do we gather them all up, discard our hand and walk away into the sunset, alone? Or, do we get rid of only those cards which will no longer prove beneficial for a meaningful and loving partnership? I have already made my decision...are you willing to deal me those final cards? I am here with open arms and loving heart waiting to embrace you. Please accept my invitation...

Ho sempre voluto provare
I've always wanted to conquer my fear of swimming brought on by a childhood incident. Many times I have tried, albeit unsuccessfully. It is one area of my life where I feel "less than" and know I have missed out on great times as a result. Nevertheless, I keep trying, and am confident one day I will do it!

To be an extremely loving/kind/caring/giving/forgiving/ understanding/unselfish person. For the most part, I feel I have achieved my original goal. I was married 36 yrs to my high school sweetheart, raised 5 marvelous, college educated children who now have beautiful families of their own! My grandchildren consider me the "Cool Grandmama"! My children's spouses have been very gracious and feel they drew the lucky card when I became their Mother-in-Law. That goes both ways! I have enjoyed several successful careers in the U.S. Govt/private industry; owned many homes here in CA and where I grew up, Washington, D.C./Maryland/Virginia. There have been very prosperous and some very lean years. Overall, it has been a good ride so far! Now, as the final third of my life plays out, my goal is to continue living a God-filled life with a wonderfully loving/kind gentleman who wud accept me for who I am now and "for whom I cud be his soulmate" to share the rest of our lives together!

I love surprises and spontaneity! "Little things mean a lot." Candlelight/moonlight/starry nights, driving w/sunroof open/top down to enjoy God's beautiful works of art. Bubble baths/long showers, sleep in/snuggle so comfy/cozy, travel near/far creating new memories together, train rides, B&B's, room service, giving/getting massages. Concerts under the stars/live theatre/movies. Relaxing by the fireplace/or wherever, w/lovely glass of wine. Cooking together (making certain it does not burn shud we opt to have "dessert" first!)mmm!! Cozy restaurants w/lovely ambience, or newly discovered/out of the way charming eateries. Strolling hand/hand/arm/arm, warm hugs/tender kisses. Watching the sun rise/set together. Being w/pampering/spoiling U. Family/friends' time. Giving to others/volunteering. Street fairs/estate/yard sales/window shopping. LOTS of hugs and kisses! Enjoying life/taking it all in with a wonderfully loving/kind gentleman at my side!
