Thanks for stopping by to read a little about me. My family and friends mean the world to me but they don't lock my door at night for me. I love to laugh and I can even laugh at myself. If I didn't have a sense of humor, I don't think I would be writing today. I have 3 grown married children, two out of town and one in Stony Brook with my 3 different and wonderful grandchildren. To me children are God's gifts and grandchildren are God's treasures. But children and grandchildren have their own lives to live with including a grandma or grandpa when appropriate.
I am a retired Teacher. I taught for almost thirty years. I taught mostly Special Education as well as General Education. I was also a Union Chapter Leader and got into the outside world. The conventions were great Learned a lot and met many dignitaries. I retired July 1,2009. I had some health issues which kept me out of the loop for a while. I fought thru many back surgeries and here I am, one piece and NO Cane or walker. I am a determined individual who loves to live life to the fullest I have a passion for traveling and have been fortunate to have been to many places.I would love to see more of our own country as well. I love to give rather than receive. A smile on a person's face, puts one on mine :-) I am open to suggestions to shows, movies ,TV, CD's,DVD's and food.
