I Would Describe Myself As

I am a HUGE Colorado Rockies fan!!! I enjoy watching the Rockies games at home and usually go to at least one home game each season. I enjoy many things such as dining out with friends/family, bowling, traveling, trips to Black Hawk on occassion and movies.

Family is very important to me. I am a widower and have 5 grown children. I would like to meet a man within my age range to become friends with and possible companions. I am very leary of the whole internet dating scene. Trust is of utmost importance to me. I am coming up on my 80th birthday this Fall and lets be serious . . . I am no spring chicken but I am not one of those people who like to just sit in a chair and watch TV all day and night either, although it's ok to do that every once in a while! I am in good health although I sometimes wish I could exchange my hip for a younger model. I get around just fine but . . . not to scare you off . . . I do use a walker when I wake up in the morning. And, since I'm being honest I am looking for a man that is in good health and can still get around like me! ;-)

Ok, now that you read this far...since being honest is so important to me - this profile has not been set up by me and I don't even know about this! We are Rockies Fan's grand-daughter and daughter-in-law but don't worry, the pic and everything we wrote is totally real. She just wouldn't do this on her own and since she is such a wonderful, caring person, we would like to see her have a special someone in her life that's why we are doing this for her. We have actually jokingly mentioned it to her but she said she would be too afraid to meet a totally meet a total stranger from the internet on her own. So, we are thinking that if we find someone that we think would be a good match that we could all meet for lunch or something and just see how it goes! You must be open to this for it to work...so, live on the edge and be adventurous and open minded...you never know where it might lead! :~)
