2 career retiree seeks female compatriot

retired from USAF (Major) in 1971; and from
from UNM (Lecturer) 2000. seeking a true
partner (compatriot) as opposed to female
Paspatu (companion) after departure of wife of 60 years just a year ago. Engaging,
but neither bashful nor boastful - spent 20
years 'seeing world' before i was 40 - not
against travel - just 'been there done that -
that's that. would look forward to true
female partner (i.e. a compatriot). Between
military and academic careers my ability
to speak-up is endless - but am just as
eager to listen to another with either
similar or different experiences. in good
health with stable income sufficient to be
able to live very comfortably. Health
expenses not a prospective problem with
medicare supplemented by military retiree
benefits. Very much a realist, Clark Gable
I'm not - but neither am I unattractive. Not
expecting a Hollywood starlet, but an
attractive, intelligent, both feet on the
ground female would only fit in with what
I've enjoyed for 60 years and know i can
find once again.

Started" (1930s trumpter/singer); I've complete four; still have to get 'underpar on golf course';
get MetroGoldwyn to ask me to star, etc. Have
already 'settled revolutions in Spain'; 'flown
around the world in a plane'; 'charted the North
Pole (acually Thule Air Base in Greenland). Silly,
maybe but that's what the question asks.

Meine Vorstellung von Spaß ist

Rafting (actually pulling the oars)on Class III or
IV white water rivers. Have done the Colorado thru
the Grand Canyon three times. camping that goes
with river trips, and remote hikes from river also
'fun'. Otherwise, anything that is not obligatory
or imposed on me can be treated as 'fun'.
