I Would Describe Myself As

Well, not quite. Having re-invented myself several times personally and professionally, I have arrived at a place in which I am very happy, comfortable, and ready to share my life with a compatible man. A full time artist, previously I have been a successful professional in several fields; mental health, consulting, finance. I am bright, creative, articulate, outgoing/shy (depends on circumstances) giving, outspoken, compassionate, adventuresome, introspective, spiritual...I love to travel and have gone to many places throughout the world. Next, I am planning a trip to the Baltic States. I enjoy theatre, movies, most types of music, reading, antiquuing, flea markets, ethnic dining, family, friends, scouting out new places, road trips, walking, particularly in cities. Have always lived on the East Coast and would see myself as a "Big City" person, but I love the Southwest, especially Northern New Mexico where I spend several monts a year. Ideally, I think I would like to have my home in DC, a loft in NYC, a flat in London, an adobe in Santa Fe and an open-ended airline ticket. In essence I would say I am eclectic in every sense of the word, from my taste in art, clothes, people, places, to the facets of my personality (sometimes seemingly contradictory). Oh yes, what do I look like? I am 5'31/2". slender, red hair, green eyes, sriking (I hate having my picture taken). I have everything I want in life--a wonderful family (2 grown children, 2 grandsons), financial independence, many friends, lots of interests, an absorbing career. The only thing I would like to add, is a close, longterm relationship with a compatible man, someone who genuinely likes women, can talk about feelings, deal with problems, llikes "to go and do", enjoys closeness and alone time, wants a true equal partner and sees a strong woman as a positive addition to his life. I am looking for someone willing to take the time to get to know one another, first as friends. Intimacy takes time to achieve.
