a little about me

Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als

i am a 55-yr. old mother of three grown children, and the grandmother of three boys, one of which i am raising. there is a fourth grandchild on the way, due sometime in april!
i am currently fianlizing my divorce, and living with my daughters until i get my own apartment in avondale. after my grandson and i get settled in, i am considering going back to school--i love to learn. i guess that's why i love to read, watch the tv, and surf the 'net--i absorb it all. i also like to travel, shop thrift stores, go to museums and the like, cook and bake for family and friends (especially at the holidays--that's when i shine!). i'm intelligent, have a good sense of humor, and am a cuddler.
i've lived in the valley off and on for 43 years, but have also lived in many other states, and in guam and germany. i love new experiences, seeing new places, meeting new people.
i love animals of all kinds--my daughter has ferrets and cats, my ex- has dogs, cats, and a rabbit; i even had a baby goat once. the kids have had mice and hamsters, spiders, fish, and turtles--but my favorite is dogs, hands down.
