I have lived in the KCMO area all my life. I have a twin sister who lives in Denver and an older sister and younger brother here in KC. I enjoy sewing, cooking, playing the piano, thrift stores, antique malls, movies and old car shows. I'm not a real fan of summer, because I'm very fair skinned, and frankly, anything over 85 degrees is just a bit too hot for me. My favorite seasons are fall and spring. Those are the seasons I really enjoy being outside. I'm a very loving, kind and affectionate woman with a great sense of humor. I'm proud to be the mother of two beautiful daughters, and I have 4 adorable grandchildren with another one on the way. I enjoy my grandchildren immensely, but the best part about spending time with them is that I don't have to raise them! They eventually go home, and I can enjoy my peace and quiet! Looking back, raising my kids was a blast, but sometimes I wonder how I did it. As for my working life, I spent most of my career working as a legal assistant and proofreader, and I hope to be working part-time in the near future.
I am seeking an intelligent man with strength of character, a great sense of humor, and the ability to enjoy . I'm looking for an eventual long term monogamous relationship, but I know we'll have to start as friends, get to know each other, and see where it leads. I'm honest and faithful when I am in a committed relationship and would expect my match to have those same attributes. I don't smoke or drink, and cannot be around cigarette smoke, so if you're a smoker, I'm afraid that's a deal breaker.
