I am a kind and gentle soul who is looking for a man who will complement my nature. You will find me a warm and friendly person who enjoys meeting new people. I love adventure, and enjoy finding new ways to enrich my life. I am sincere and do not play games. If by chance, I accidentally say something hurtful without thinking, I always apologize.

My interests are eclectic, ranging from the arts to sports, with everything in between - good music, fine art, books, theater, opera, as well as the outdoors - nature, hiking, snowshoeing, and water sports. As an avid reader, a book or recorded book is always at hand. I download literature to my I-pod so I can listen while I am at the gym. I enjoy word games, etymology, and enjoy playing Scrabble. I was brought up with classical music, but also enjoy jazz, zydeco, folk, and the Beatles. I also love animals, especially dogs.

Now that I am retired from teaching Anatomy and Physiology, I take classes that interest me. I have learned so much by taking Oasis classis. My favorite is Conversational Italian which I will use when I go to Italy this Fall.
