I am a kind and caring person who enjoys conversation and sharing life experiences with someone special. I've been told I am a good listener and am happy conversing on the phone and especially in person. All people have a life story and it's interesting to learn about each person's unique experience. I'm an ISFJ and would like to find another ISFJ or an ESFJ (research the Myers-Briggs personality profile for more details). Reading the book: Please Understand Me was helpful in learning about myself and others in relation to these personality types. I have found it very insightful. I am curious about the world around me. I try to stay up on current events. Surfing the Internet is a fun way to explore all topics. I especially enjoy history, biographies, alternative health, ancient mysteries, personal development, and just about any subject. There is always so much to learn so I am never bored but I would enjoy the companionship of someone special with whom to share life's experiences. It would be great to be with someone who enjoys conversing while sharing a walk or meal together. The qualities I appreciate (and strive to express) are those of thoughtfulness, gratitude, patience, and sincerity. I am currently content with being at home, relaxing with a good book or watching an interesting movie or tv show, especially Jeopardy. I have had opportunities to travel; however, it is now comforting to be happy at home as the world scene seems precarious. Watching the Discovery or National Geographic Channel is a favorite way to be an armchair traveler and it is certainly stress-free and economical. I am able to find joy in the simple pleasures of life and would like to find someone with whom to share those moments. My down-to-earth, practical, conscientious side has served me well in life. The job I enjoy leaves evenings and weekends free for other activities. I would love to be with someone who enjoys conversation and makes me laugh with comic observations about life. Ideally, our mutually caring natures will provide a firm foundation for an enriching relationship.
