How about a basket packed with assorted cheeses, crackers, grapes and something to drink in the back seat of the car? Ready for a little road trip to the mountains. We'll find just the right setting, eat our lunch then find a road or trail to investigate. Surrounded by nature, all the sounds and smells accompanied by just the right man would be intoxicating. Of course, the trees would hear frequent chuckles over our funny remarks. The squirrels would laugh with us as we find amusement in the simplest of comments. At dusk we watch the sunset and then homeward bound. What an interesting and fun filled day, sharing nature and celebrating our friendship.

You have already heard all the definations of the almost perfect man. All the adjectives painting what we all want. That's all good but I think there is more. I want someone with whom I can cry, laugh, discuss money and whether or not to take on a new obligation. A man that is real enough to get dirty fixing the pipe under the sink and 2 hours later look good in a suit on the way to the latest new play downtown. And then there is the sharing of family, grandchildren and all the pets. The weekends and holidays, the skinned knees and crushed emotions at prom time. No, it's not always smooth, but the test comes when the rough spots occur will the relationships be secure. Yes, that's what I am looking for, an imperfect man who is willing to live in an imperfect relationship in an imperfect world - laughing and loving all the way through each and every day.
