Well, for someone who has been a single parent and has been in and out of a few difficult relationships, I find myself still hoping to find love. I'm looking for a man who is intelligent, full of life, who likes to do things and is not afraid to hold hands when we go for a walk, or even kiss and let the people stare. Someone who likes to travel and try new things, who likes me to give him a relaxing massage when he is tired or sore and who will want to do the same for me when I am tired and sore. Someone who likes to snuggle and is a good kisser, who is not afraid to tell me his thoughts and realizes that unless we face the bad together we can never be as one. Everyone has had some difficult times in their lives and we must be tolerant and strive to understand one another. All too many times I talk to people about these things and they agree we must find a way to accept one another but when it comes down to real life situations, people abandon the thought of working through the tough stuff and run away. I want someone to stay when things are good and when things are difficult because that's the way life is. You got to be grateful for the good things that happen and find a way through tough times together. I believe this makes a couple stronger. People are just giving up on each other way too soon these days and not allowing themselves to grow deeply, to grow together with their partners and honor who eachother are as individuals.

Therefore, my man should never lie or keep secrets or play games. I cannot stand a person who does and will have a real problem if he is like that. He should not be jealous and should trust and always speak to me about his thoughts if he feels any mistrust feelings. These things must be discussed and dealt with or it will destroy the relationship. He should like being spontaneous and do things for fun by just getting up with me and going and doing them. Or to suddenly come sit on my lap while I read and begin to kiss me. He should not be a wild flirt but should not be shy either. We should share much together yet know when each needs some time alone or have things we like to do with friends as long as nothing endangers our love or the relationship. He should know that it is good for a couple to be like the strings of a guitar, separate, yet close together so they make beautiful music as one. He should not smoke and should drink once in a while to relax or with dinner or when romantic but not be a drunk. We should talk much to get to know each others thoughts before they are even spoken. When a couple reaches that point they are truly one and have a strong relationship which nothing can shatter. I would love him to snuggle up to me when we sleep safe and happy. I don't think a couple should go to bed angry ever. Instead, when they go to bed mad, they should take each other in their arms and make love. Then, the anger is forgotten and it's a good way to keep a relationship happy. I am a very passionate women and would hope to find a man to match my passion and lovemaking. It's really nice to please the one you love and to fall asleep thinking how lucky you are. I want that kind of love.

I like to cook with fresh foods and explore different types of recipes. I enjoy the ocean and the beach, I like to travel, and be in nature. I love my dog and would want a dog lover in my life. I love to laugh and look for the joy in life. I like to read, watch some TV (especially NFL) and other sports and good movies. I like to be with good friends and do things for them, to help people. I also camp and go hiking. All Alaskan outdoor things are fun to me and I have done much. I like most music but love oldies from long ago and jazz (Michael Buble and Chris Botti are favorites of mine) and many other genres are also good. I think it's so wonderful in the winter to cozy up and get comfy with someone you care about and who cares about you, sharing a good meal and conversation.
