I am new to this internet dating...to be honest, I am not sure if I should be trying to find that Special Someone by this method...nothing ventured, nothing gain!!!

I am at point in my life where finding pleasure and contentment in simple things is what I want. To just sit (with my love), hand in hand, under the palm tree next to my pond & waterfall, watching the Koi and Goldfish swim fin to fin, and listen to the sounds as the water cascades down a "five tier" waterfall.

I enjoy many activities (especially landscaping)....it's not much fun doing them alone however! I would truly hope my next partner could share her thoughts, ideas, and hopefully hands on....

My friends tell me that I am not bad looking....although my hair line is receding and thinning on top. I've been told that my eyes dance and that I'm a gentleman...I've always open the ladies door, hold hands while walking, at a movie, in the car, etc.; (if home, cuddling is a must)...a little old fashion!

I lived in the Ann Arbor area for 60 years, before moving to Las Cruces, NM. I am retired (8 years). The 4 1/2 years we had here in Las Cruces was like being on a honeymoon. God gave me a second chance to be that loving husband I was when we were first married. I started doing some of the things that my wife enjoyed...swimming, attending many festivals, theater, etc...

We had 3 boys and one girl (adopted). The boys, their loves, and I are very close. And in the last my daughter and I have found each other. My children are grown. Three of the four have families of their own. I enjoy taking trips (MI & NC) to see them and my six grandkids (4 girls and 2 boys, ages 4 to 10).

I am sorry to say that for most of my first sixty years of life I believe and practice that we should fulfill traditional gender roles. However, in the pass 32 months I've done both roles...and actually have taken pleasure in doing many of them. And most importantly, will continue doing them with my new partner!
