I figured I would update the old profile, add a few things, take a few away, and share a little more about myself and what I am looking for.
I am a 49 year old male who, like everyone else, has had my share of ups and downs. I admit that I am still a work in progress. The older I get the more I seem to appreciate the simpler things in life. A babys laugh-a good thunderstorm-some quality time with the people I love. Especially the latter. I am sure that there were times earlier in my life when I passed up some of those opportunities-times when my priorities were a little screwed up and I had lost sight of what was truly important. I guess that is just part of the maturation process. I would need my partner to understand that forever chasing the dollar until I retire is not something I find important anymore. Don’t get me wrong-I am certainly not taking it to the extreme of not making any! I just believe I have been able to find a better balance. There are still things I want to accomplish in life, and I am motivated to do so. I understand that some people will look at that statement as an admission of becoming complacent or wasting money making opportunities-I think the right woman would understand though!
