I am 77 years old and have no problem with my age or my life. I am comfortable with who I am and I plan to thoroughly enjoy the next 20 years at least.
I enjoy the company of men as much as 10 or 12 years younger than I am, but also enjoy men nearer my own age. I won't apologize for my dislike of pot bellies, tattoos, earrings, and scraggly beards and mustaches.
I own my own home but am not a "rich widow." I have no children of my own but have two stepsons and a step-daughter-in-law in Jacksonville. My only baggage is a very large, lovable Maine Coon cat. I like animals of all types and sizes and wish I had room for a horse.
I love to visit old towns like St. Augustine, Savannah, and Charleston. I enjoy going to antique shops, flea markets, and yard sales, but for the most part I just look; very little buying. My occasional trips to casinos are mostly for fun with friends, with very little gambling.
The adult, gated community where I live, near Ocala, offers a wide variety of activities and choices, enough to keep me alive and jumping.
