Ik beschrijf mezelf als:
Dear Sir,
I would like to apply for the vacancy advertised on this site. I believe I have the required qualifications: my GSOH is completely up to date, as it is used on a daily basis, however I may need a short refresher course in sofa cuddling and duvet snuggling, as although I have experience in these areas it has been some time since I had cause to use these skills. I understand that the hours are not the normal 9 to 5, but this would be ideal, as it would allow me to continue with my other jobs (food taster for Victoria Beckham and cheer leader for Torquay United Football Club). Neither of these are full time occupations. I realise that there is no salary with this position, but I would be happy to accept the offer of the occasional meal out, trip to restaurant etc. I would be pleased to start the job at the basic level, but may possibly later wish to be promoted to the ‘weekends away, sharing holidays’ level with your agreement. Should the opportunity for foreign travel arise, I do have not only my own passport, but also a luggage tag shaped like a cupcake. Although I am not fluent in any of the European languages, I am able to order coffee or drinks in many of them and I have a higher diploma (with honours) in talking rubbish. My main interest in life is being happy, which I manage to achieve on an almost daily basis. My hobbies include hiding in peoples cupboards and pretending to be an Avon lady when they find me, loitering at zebra crossings to see how many drivers will stop and liberating garden gnomes (only the unhappy ones). I would be able to write, sorry provide, references should you require any.
