An Ideal First Date Would Be

My idea of fun is a night out with a special someone in which we have dinner at a local restaurant, nice but not too expensive. Later we could go to a movie that we both wanted to see, and then we would drive home to enjoy cups of coffee on the porch. The cat would circle our chairs, comforted by the sounds of our voices in low conversation as the night sounds echoed around us. After a short walk in the moonlight, we might have a light snack and watch some TV. Then the night would end as we said goodnight, each absorbed in the warmth of appreciation and being appreciated. The treasure of the memories of the evening and night would carry us through until the next time we met or spoke. The best relationships begin as friendships and build slowly.
