I dote on a glorious standard poodle. I thrive on affection, loathe affectation. I'm imperfect. I'm a writer and certified romantic.

I'm not a handy man, have never figured out gardening. I love my house plants. . .the contrarians die anyway. Camping, reading, music, the train, snooping around, driving, walking, flea markets, shopping, smooching, are all good. Eating out, eating in, eating, Single Malts, excellent red wine are good. Crosswords in ink, good. New movies on Friday, very good. Essential, actually.
