I’m a widow, 4 yrs ago Iost my husband after 48 yrs.
Love people but not big crowds. I’m kind of a home body, simple things bring pleasure. Love camping, miss my motor home, and car trips. Enjoy stopping at little out of the way places. Sitting in the back yard or by a fireplace with a glass of wine, is pleasing to me. I like most music.
I miss the feeling of closeness between a man and woman. Knowing someone has your back! At a party, a secret nod or gesture from across the room to say, “let’s get out of here”.
Love being near the ocean!
I like a kiss in passing for no reason, or an unexpected hug. I’m affectionate, a bit of a romantic.
Do not like arguing. I’m conservative.
I’m not a paid member yet, I had double mastectomy a year ago and now preparing for reconstructive surgery. I don’t really know how I got on this site. Until surgery I’m lying low, but once I get my ‘****s’ back, watch out! I have a sense of humor and can laugh at myself. I’m honest, to a point and say what I feel. I also use oxygen, mostly for walking around, sitting not needed. I’m only on 1 liter, it doesn’t impact me except walking can be tiring, so I’m not able to take long walks, like I once did.
Have 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren.
I am quite comfortable with my life, don’t need someone to take care of me, but I miss the bond between a couple. Doing things alone is not fun!
So there you have it. Most people shy away due to the oxygen use. If you think we could have a go at it, even just for conversation, lunch or dinner let me know!
