I was widowed last year after 48 years of marriage to my teen sweetheart. I am finally coming out of the "fog", and although I am a granny nanny for my 2 grandbabies, I miss adult companship and conversation. I miss going out to eat. I miss concerts, plays and so on. I am not sure exactly what my ultimate goal after friendship would be, but I plan to take things step by step. I am told I look much younger than I am and act the same way. I cherish life and enjoy it -- I have a good sense of humour and like to have fun, but I am still conservative in many things. I have lived in this city for just 5 years so do not know too many besides my one daughter and some neighbours - times are lonely often.
