Cheery widow, but do get a bit lonesome from time to time, self sufficient, love traveling... recently back from Ireland and Vegas but would enjoy it more with someone to share the experiences...Most of all love dining out and dancing, stimulating conversations, the theatre, soft jazz/blues music at an upscale jazz club and quiet nights by a fire...Right now I do these things alone too or meet old friends at singles dances
My late husband was a good and gentle man and after 19 years with Alzheimers, I believe he is finally at peace and so am I.
I am the mother of 6 adult children, 10 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters. I am living life to fullest as best I can and giving my offspring the space to do the same...not ready to be dependant on my family, but love them dearly.
Although I live in Mishawaka, Indiana, I volunteer in Oshkosh, Wisconsin for AirVenture and the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) from spring to fall, am an avid fan of all things flying...Passed the FAA written but went no further...also enjoy helping friends to build their planes, do upholstering for the automotive dept there and volunteer in the fab shop too. These volunteer activities have brought many wonderful friends into my life from all over the world...Friends helped me to build a deck next to my new trailer in Oshkosh and I love to host pot luck parties for all my friends...It is Oshkosh where life is full for me...What is lacking is a life partner with whom to share love and togetherness...So I will rely on friends to help make new acquaintances.
