Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als

Fit, strong, outward-looking and cerebral male looking for a woman who can share both ideals and aspirations this late in life. Just back from a two-month diving safari, I am not overly blessed financially but I like travel and adventure and for my sins, I publish some of these experiences. Tall (6ft 2) and hirsute, I attend gym several times a week where I like to build up to 500 metres in the pool. Been married, done that and have no regrets because the kids are all doing their own thing. I live in a delightful little cottage on a farm near London, don't have a car nor do I wish to own one, though when abroad, I like to drive (just done 4,000 miles through Mozambique and South Africa). One of my failings is that I don't suffer fools gladly but like to encourage the younger generation and use own experiences to do so. Still doing a lot of work, which can take me away from home intermittantly but would like to think that my partner would sometimes like to join me. My other love is music - I enjoy serious works and when the mood fits will go into the city to concerts at the Wigmore, Festival Hall and others.
The woman I am looking for should be sharp, active, reasonably slim and financially secure (enough to take of her own needs).
I enjoy others' company, like my wine but am not a bar person, though not averse to a few drinks in a pub with friends
