Well this is harder than I thought, but here it is. I am a Vietnam Era Veteran, retired and sadly a widower. I lost my wife 3 years ago, and for the next 2 years I hid from the outside world, not seeing anyone except a good friend who did my shopping and banking. After 2 years I did leave my home, to live at a Veterans Housing Community. After another year I realize that my life is lacking in that I miss not having someone to care about. That is something I always enjoyed, how was I going to make that special person smile or laugh that day. So a friend recommended this site.
