I'm a happy person. Life is too short to be a grump. I do need to put this up front. I'm in a wheelchair. I had polio as a child. If you read further, I think you will feel the essence of my personality, not just the chair. I'm very independent. But I love for a man to treat me like a lady. When I drive I use my manual chair otherwise I use my power wheelchair at home. I'm outgoing but I don't like to be the center of attention. Which seems to happen to me a lot. I love to sit and talk, I like to relax and watch TV. I like going on trips, one day or longer. Most every year I go visit my family in CA. I love reading to my neighbor, she has macular degeneration. I also like to go out to dinner. I rarely do that. I'm still not comfortable eating by myself without a book. I'm a kind and loving person. I have a dog, Sammy. If you come to my apartment, you must make friends with him. He doesn't like strangers. He's just very protective. I'm retired from NASA. I would like to meet a man that doesn't care about the wheelchair. I'm not paralyzed, I have feeling, so don't pinch me. lol I have a good sense of humor and I can tell a joke without messing it up.
