I am a 59 year old divorcee of 6 years now living alone in a detached bungalow 200 metres from a wonderful unspoilt Lincolnshire beach. After my divorce in tragic circumstances I opted to take early retirement from senior management in the I.T. industry to keep an eye on my elderly parents living near by. I now enjoy a low key but intensely rewarding life including property renovation, gardening, (mainly vegetable), sea fishing (for the freezer), cycling and walking. My other interests are photography, cricket, rugby, astronomy and science.



Despite being very comfortable and content I do miss female companionship and would value a loving relationship with the right person. This would be based on mutual respect, and sharing the good and the bad. As with my other relationship of over 25 years the whole was greater than the sum of the individuals with our differences acting as a complement.



Likes: The beach, sea fishing, cooking / food / sea food / olives, barbecues, morning coffee, breadmaker, practical jokes, natural environment, astronomy, MP3 music player, woodburner , politeness & dignity.

Dislikes : TV adverts, TV Soaps, cats, fuss, football, cheats, waste, being late for an appointment .

I do not believe in organised religion but it was the Dalai Lama who said “The purpose of our lives is to be happy”.
