They say good things come in small packages and I'm the proof!! I love being my present age!! I am armed with enough of life's experiences to know what I want (and don't want), and I have learned from a multitude of mistakes...

What's wonderful about my life today is that I have an unexpected chance to "start over" in many ways. I feel like the world is at my fingertips. I have a chance to put to use the lessons I have learned in the past in an effort to create for myself a new and exciting future.

I am not on this site looking for someone to match my ideals, but rather I am fascinated by looking at your profiles and stories, reading your messages to me, and chatting with several of you and realizing how much more there is to living than I could have ever imagined on my own. I am borrowing bits and pieces from each of you and adding them to "my to do list". Great book ideas, great places to travel, great movies to see -- and even ideas for where I might relocate have all been an exciting part of this journey.

Now I have to admit that you have inspired me forward to excercise more so that I can add the term "athletic and toned" to describe my build, but my passion for food is definitely a deterrent to that. Fortunately, I am not prone to much weight gain, and I have to work really hard (which I often do :) ) to put on the excess pounds.

If by chance I connect with someone for a friendship, dating relationship, or even something more long term, that would be such a bonus.
