Thinking of moving back to where I grew up in Bethesda, MD -
I don't buy or use anything labeled "fat free, " "cholesterol free, " "sugar free, " "dietetic" or "green." I prefer meat to carbs. I have no chronic health probems or diseases. I don't care for beer or wine, prefering vodka, gin or a rum mixed drink on special occasions, but I can only have two in an evening since I have never weighed more than 110lbs, except when I was pregnant.
My daughter and her husband live in Rockville with their two boys; my older son lives in Australia with his wife, daughter and son; and my younger son lives in Baltimore with his wife and two daughters.
I enjoy reading historical, political, non-fiction, in addition to mysteries, historical fiction, and well-written, accurate historical reomances. I love movies - comedies, mysteries, even war movies. I knit, crochet, do needlepoint. I've never been into a lot of physical activity just for the sake of it: exercise is a dirty word. I enjoy travel: We all went to Australia for my son's wedding.
I'm 5'5", 110, wear a 6-8 depending on the cut, have green eyes, and naturally brown/red/blonde/silver hair. I don't limp, don't use a walker, and have my own teeth (best to keep our sense of humor here). Oh, if only "hicks" smoke in the house, then I'm a "hick."
