I am an attractive, intelligent, honest woman with a good (but quiet) sense of humor, who loves to be spontaneous, looking for an honest, intelligent, fun man who loves the same things I do. I love animals, live theatre, music of almost any kind, reading, dancing, stimulating conversation, nature, the beach (the sound of the ocean is priceless), traveling, holding hands, and dancing.
I have blonde hair and green eyes and people say I have a great smile. I love to smile and laugh, but hate lies and cruelty. I am a born rescuer who can't pass up a stray puppy or kitten (but almost always find them good homes). I don't get angry very easily and it passes quickly, but injustice or lies will get a rise out of me every time. I stay calm in emergencies (and try not to fall apart afterwards, depending on how bad it was) and am a faithful friend. I trust too easily and have been hurt because of it, but forgive quickly if I feel it has been earned or if I feel I wasn't justified in feeling hurt. I have been married twice (as a trophy wife to the first for 7 yrs, and as a substitute mother to the 2nd, for 30 yrs). I'm looking for a man to cherish and be cherished in return. I feel I've earned the right to know true love at least once in my life and want to give that llove back freely. If I can't find true love, then just a good friend to do things with would also be very nice. I have had some health problems, but thanks to hip replacements and a heart valve replacement, I am doing very well. I do battle a bad back, but handle that, too, though there are physical activities that I can't do. . . no rappelling down a cliff or wrestling a steer down. Sorry. lol. I had three children, all grown, but lost my oldest son suddenly in 2006. I am a Christian lady and expect a man to behave like a gentleman.
