I'm an optimistic, happy, healthy woman who happens to have a wonderful life - mother of two, grandmother of three, retired from a long public service career that I totally enjoyed, in good health with more time now to stop and smell the roses. Have been a member of dating sites, met new people and discovered that appearance or career success, or financial ability by themselves aren't enough to enjoy a lasting connection with. I'm a fully engaged gramma, my grandkids bring out the girl in me, keeping me young, and reminding me how the most beautiful moments and memories are borne from the simple things of life. I enjoy the outdoors, especially being near the ocean, walking, gardening, music, dancing, golf (though it's been quite awhile), dining out, movies, reading, have a weakness for Starbucks chai tea lattes, traveling to name a few things.
