I'm an ex-New Yorker who has lived in the Northwest for half her life. I'm a mother of a 35-year old son, I've been a community college writing instructor for many years, and I'm also an essayist, poet and photographer. I care about social issues, in particular criminal justice reform. I like to cook, to read, to watch films and to travel. Currently I live in southern Oregon, but I plan on moving back to Portland (Oregon, not Maine) this coming summer. I've got two beautiful cats. I'm authentic, honest and independent. I've got a quirky sense of humor. I'm looking for warmth, connection, good conversation and shared values.
