Are you tired of the on line hookup bull? I am too! I am straight forward, and ready to meet someone who is willing to meet in person before we exchange 700 emails. As far as who I am goes: I am a family guy, I know, how can this guy be a family guy and still looking to hookup with a man, you might be asking yourself. Well, some of us discover ourselves a bit later than others, would me my answer. I am no longer married, and I haven’t been for more than 20 years, but I have some great kids and grandkids, too. I have a PhD. in Adult Education and have worked in Corporate Training, in one form or another, for most of my working career. I am an animal lover and once showed both horses and dogs, but now I just have one dog who is a great companion.

I am in the last 7 or so years before retirement and hope to retire to a little parcel of land where I can have a dog and a horse. I enjoy the outdoors and hiking (short trips that are not all up hill). I also like the theater and the symphony. I enjoy eating out, but I really try to eat healthy, and sometimes these two things are not very compatible. I am a wine drinker but not a smoker, and don’t do pot or other drugs. I am a Christian but don’t push my believes on others, and remain open to others points of view. I tend to be more conservative than liberal and respect both our military and the police who protect us. I am looking for someone who shares some of these characteristics, and is willing to spend some time to get to know one and other.

I tend to be attracted to intelligent men with strong levels of self-awareness (this does not mean overbearing or close minded), and a man who can speak his mind but support his thoughts. I like a man who is self-confident but not over-confident, someone who can listen to an opinion, analyze it and understand where it differs from his own opinion and build a case for new opinions. I am looking for both a physical and an intellectual relationship. Interested?…..
