I graduated from East Tennessee State University in 1963 with a Bachelor of Science degree. My wife and I were married on November 21, 1964 and we have two children, Son and daughter and five grandchildren. Gwen died on December 11, 2012 of cancer related illness. Son is forty-five years old and owns his own company as a contractor to I-Max Corporation and our daughter is forty-three years old and is a stay at home mom and loves it. I retired from Bank of America in July 2008 after ten years as a CICS Systems Programmer; and worked a total of forty-five years as a programmer. We moved from Arlington, Texas, after 42 years, to Birmingham, AL to be closer to our children and grandchildren in January 2009. We are enjoying spoiling the grandchildren and sending them home. I have been taking computer classes at Jefferson State Community to keep the mind active and I have enjoyed being in class again. I are active at Shades Mountain Baptist Church and Sunday school in Birmingham and was an active deacon at Fielder Road Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas for 30 years. Enjoy watching NC Basketball and traveling.
