I am 74, a recent widow, retired CPA, don't smoke, do not have pets and sold my house in Sun City Summerlin last year. I have immediate family scattered along the coast from Carlsbad to Ventura (which is why I think I may be the only person crazy enough to be moving back to California when most sane people appear to be fleeing) I am currently living in Redondo Beach ( less than a mile from where I went to high school-yikes) waiting (most likely unrealistically in the short term) for the real estate market to slow. Coincidentally, I did my master's thesis on trend analysis positing in the immortal words of WS, "This too shall pass." The difficulty is in recognizing when. Oh forgot to add that I like Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain etc...
