Perhaps I am not suited to all comers, yet to that one individual person I could be unique.
I am a 80 year old retired Western Australian farmer (Agriculture is still my greatest love and I was good at it), my wife died in 2000 of a cancer, (She was a University trained teacher, having lived with her for the 46 years of our marriage prior her death, she was a large portion of my intellectual education). I have three children who now all live with their own families. I have my own home in the Cottesloe suburb of Perth Western Australia and live on my own.
I am learning to speak Mandarin, it is a slow process, however the use of language has always been a fascination to me, and the word “challenge” could be used. It is difficult with the written/spoken word of any language, to transfer an exact reproduction of a personal mind picture to another’s mind, even though that is the main purpose of that exercise, still, it is the best system we have, so let us talk more often.
