About me:
I am a multi-faceted person. I enjoy exploring places near and far. Though I am afraid of heights, I have viewed the world from the Seattle Space Needle as well as the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
I hosted exchange students for a few years. We have kept in touch and visit each other from time to time. I had the honor of being the matron-of-honor for one of the girls in Germany. What a hoot!
I teach second grade and enjoy teaching the children about the world around them. I love field trips!!
In my spare time, I read murder mysteries, watch old movies or research my next adventure. I'm trying to decide between Ireland or the southeast coast of the US for my next adventure.
My creative nature has found me researching, designing and making a bridal gown for a 12th century Latvian theme wedding.
I'm looking for someone who is mentally and financially stable. I would like that person to be easy going and spontaneous. Some Sunday mornings I find myself seeking a table next to the ocean or river with the best chowder or Reuben sandwich the area has to offer. I then like to stroll along the beach or a mountain trail with no objective in mind. Mental vacations are greatly appreciated!
