As the youngest of four, I grew up on a cotton and dairy farm (family of 6) in a small Alabama town. I had lots of friends and enjoyed horses, pets, hunting, swimming, sports, and being head majorette. Simple things I enjoy are picnics/sunsets/crashing waves/water falls/stary nights/ mountain streams/watching birds build nests/saying hi to little squirrels in my yard/walking in the rain/cuddling. Active things I enjoy or have enjoyed are scuba diving/
kayaking/canoeing/sailing/swimming/fishing/skiing/camping/
going to garage sales and looking for antiques/friends/
church activities. I read a bit and use to fly (yes, airplane), knit, play raquetball, and do stained glass. The following trips were exciting: Alaska (6 mo. on 32' wooden sailboat), Mexico, China, Japan, & Austria. I have also enjoyed a cruise to Alaska and several others to different parts of the Caribbean. These words describe me: loving/sensitive/caring/outgoing/adventuresome/
romantic/giving/genuine/open/spontaneous/affec-
tionate/conservative/compassionate/optimistic with lots of energy....a giver and not a taker.
My strongest traits are being a great listener and an encourager. My church, my family, and my faith walk are essential to my life. My favorite two Scriptures are Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight, " and Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, " says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."

Currently a staff accountant with local school board, I plan to retire when God sends me someone special or reveals to me an alternate assignment. My dream job is to make a beautiful home for someone special and relate to him in a way he feels loved, accepted, affirmed, respected, and appreciated. I am looking for a committed Christian guy who is fun, loves to laugh, and cares about others.
