I live in Orewa, just north of Auckland ... NOT in Ruawai.

My profession was computer systems analyst, with the majority of my time spent on system site support and development. I have a fairly casual lifestyle now and I feel comfortable in shorts and a short sleeved shirt in preference to a suit often for work, to my daughter's despair. I have on occasion been known to dress up, but not often. If you want the height of male fashion - not me - not these days. However I do run to slacks and a casual shirt when I go out dining or coffee-ing.

I enjoyed camping though, and I really enjoy being in a motor camper for example and exploring. Nothing quite like dinner beside a beach or lake after a swim. Did that once, it was great fun and I'd love to do it some more. I love snorkelling and swimming and diving off the back of a boat into beautiful clear blue water. Actually, I love boating generally to tell the truth.

I really enjoy coffee at a streetside cafe - great way to spend an hour or so chatting and watching the world go by for a little while. Ambling is good. I love hot pools. Selective telly is good too. I love music, everything from Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead, Clapton, Led Zepellin and Mark Knopfler to Canadian Brass, the Boston Pops, Andre Rieu, Abba, Air Supply, Bert Kaempfert, Bonnie Tyler, James Last to 60's and 70s stuff. Favourite NZ track is Rumour - Holy Morning. Fantastic song! Gosh the list is nearly endless!
