Tallish, plump, long brown hair shot with silver. I'm honest, loyal, independent, a bit shy and definitely a one-off. Dry sense of humour. I love dancing, reading, sewing, puzzles, walking my dogs and wildlife amongst other things. i'm a life-long non-smoker. I enjoy the occasional drink but I don't like clubs and pubs much although I'll make an exception for live music. Planning to travel round Aus when I retire, but thats a few years off. My 2 adult children are on the verge of moving out. Enough for now?

I'm attracted to tall, intelligent, gently-spoken men who don't smoke and rarely swear. They are comfortable with who and where they are. They have the self-confidence to be casual and the self-respect not to be slobbish. They are independent but want to be close to someone special and treat me with affection and respect. I'm tactile and need someone who reciprocates that. I don't believe in love at first sight - relationships take time to build so patience is essential. I don't expect to share every interest or every second of our lives - we both need some personal space.
