My friends describe me as intelligent, quick, capable, honest, funny, kind, compassionate, calm in the face of crisis and fiercely loyal. I listen well and have learned that most people just need to think out loud and have someone listen and ask some questions while they come to their own conclusions. I am a jeans and tee kind of woman. I wear a dress or suit 5 days a week for work and have for decades... so on the weekends I prefer a casual get together over a formal setting but am socially comfortable in both. I love to travel... get out and experience something different... life begins at the end of your comfort zone. I enjoy reading and love a good conversation... I will listen and respect your views, even if we see things differently. Life would be pretty boring and we would learn nothing if we all held the same views. Outdoors... swimming, water skiing, fishing, kayaking. I also enjoy playing bridge - inadequately, chess - badly and cribbage - skillfully. Dinner and a movie out, dinner and a movie on the couch, an evening around a fire pit... I enjoy all the usual activities most others do. I enjoy watching all of the major sports but have to admit that I believe March Madness to be the greatest sporting event in the world! I do prefer to live as chaos and drama free as possible. I see no need to manufacture confusion and negativity. Life will throw me my share of trials and I will do my best to rise to the occasions... but creating my own chaos...nope... not interested. I like to find the humor in difficult situations... some of the most frustrating situations turn into the funniest stories retold countless times over the years. Life doesn't always have to be taken so seriously. I am looking for a partner... someone who shares a similar set of values/morals. Our interests should have some similarities but also a few differences exposing each other to alternative activities/adventures and allow us to experience something new. I would like to think we can truly GROW together not just co-exist.
