Well, we're both here! ... not that we planned or expected to be at this stage in our lives ... who knew that life would throw us such a curve? If you are like me ... you have picked yourself up, faced the challenges and are excited at this new beginning and the possibilities of what the future holds!! In fact we share the same attitude ... The best is yet to come!
We are both looking for the same things, common values, some common interests, a desire to be best friends, lovers, and partners in mischief and anything else we can dream up! We are both crazy about our kids and our grandkids and each other … we enjoy the simple things in life and look forward to continually learning about the things around us and each other. We know the importance of love and commitment and it comes naturally to us. We also know the importance of FUN and ROMANCE and make every effort to keep it a priority in our lives.
I don’t think that I am expecting too much – after all – you are expecting the very same!!
I want someone to come home to, to wake up to, and think about during the day – I happen to think that THIS is what enjoying life is all about! You maybe hadn’t thought of it that way, but now that I mention it, you agree.
I am easy to talk to, easy to get along with and easy to please. I am eager to know about your interests and have you teach me things. We have our own interests, but we share some too … we want to do things together, walks, movies, travel, cafes, fine dining, dancing, doing a lot or nothing at all! Mostly we want to share good times and enjoy each other’s company. We take pride in our appearance, manners are important to us, we communicate well and don’t take life too seriously … we laugh a lot and most of all just want to be together! I love all things domestic and hope you like to cook so that we can prepare meals together and enjoy the results. Enjoying wine together would be nice and I hope that you enjoy the music that I love listening to. I am especially fond of smooth jazz – can listen all day and all night to Diana Krall, Michael Buble, Steve Tyrell, Arthur Prysock, Johnny Hartman, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, Billy Holiday, Sarah Vaugn ... well you get the picture ... I could go on and on.
The important stuff ... ABOUT YOU. You are tall (a TRUE 5’10” – 6’4”) ... I'll admit it guys, height IS important to ME ... shallow as that may seem :-( ... about my age, give or take a few years ... average build is good, a few extra pounds is good, (of course if you are a ‘hunk’ I’m OK with that ... lol).
You are ‘the guy next door’... you know ... a nice guy ... loves his home, his garden, his tools, (his surroundings are important to him), his hobbies, his interests, enjoys cooking, ... Uh huh ... just your average, all-round good guy! You are clean cut, well put together, you have a presence about you, an obvious quiet confidence, you are polished ... YOU will know what I mean by this!
I of course love all the finer things in life, as you do, HOWEVER, I love ... more than that ... the simple things in life! The everyday stuff! You do not need to impress me ... you will be surprised how easy I am to please! It is the 'MAN’ that I seek, that perfect fit ... when comfort in each other’s presence is warm and satisfying ... OH YES! ... THAT’S the good life! :-)
