My Idea Of Fun Is

Fun is something I have been devoid of for the past dozen years, as my long term companion of 24 years became seriously ill, and I chose to stick by her and graciously and gratuitously cared for her 24/7 during the time she was home bound.

Authorization for round-the-clock service was granted recently to the family using Medicaid subsidized Home Attendants and I had to cease my care to make way for the new arrangements.

Two weeks to the day after my departure, she passed away and I was devastated. However I have been able to come to terms with and make closure by the fact that it was God’s will and I had sacrificed so much to extend her life. Primarily, the soul mate I seek is very special lady who possesses so many of the incredible attributes as I do which makes me such a unique person. This, I expect to be a very daunting and lengthy task because it is highly improbable to find that combination in one lady. Yet hope springs eternal and I am a consummate optimist.
