I Would Describe Myself As

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's learning to dance in the rain!
Life is constantly changing. Have you been so busy achieving career goals and suddenly realized you weren't living your life? I made that epiphany a few years ago...now I believe it is important to live my life to the fullest no matter what I’m doing. I would describe myself as intelligent, educated, supportive, open, honest, a great sense of humor, outgoing and , curious. I believe life can be challenging, but we make our own happiness....laugh, explore, and ask lots of questions! :) I have diverse interests and am willing to try anything new! I love my home and gardens, my dogs, movies,and learning about new ideas. am a great football fan...go Tenn. Vols and Colts! I am a compassionate animal lover and my dogs are members of my family. Music is soothing and I love many different genres: from Bocelli to Kenny Chesney. Nothing as relaxing as listening to a melody and reflecting about your day while enjoying a glass of wine. I want to be able to share those moments with a special someone...I miss that part of my life! I hope to travel and my dream trip is spending a month in Tuscany. I love art and museums. A quick trip on Amtrack to Raleigh to visit museums is the best!
My grown daughter is an important part of my life and while we each have our own lives, we offer each other much support. I enjoy going to the beach and watch the ocean as it hits the shore. I am a romantic! I love to make someone feel special and spending time with my signifcant other although I have my own interests.
appreciate the fine things in life and always strive to enjoy small luxuries like a glass of wine, a nice restaurant, or cooking a delicious meal together but don't be fooled...I grew up in the mountains of Tenn and I can get messy and have a great time doing it whether it is working in my garden or cleaning out a barn stall!!! I enjoy variety in life and yet I also work hard and look forward to quiet relaxing times reading a good book, listening to soothing music or watching a great movie! I work hard in a stressful field and "chilling" is an important part of replenishing my energy. I am a high energy person but love the quiet, calm moments in life, especially snuggling.
